Abaco

Scattered over 130 square miles of aquamarine water, The Abacos is the second largest island in The Bahamas.

Best known as a yachtsman’s paradise, The Abacos comprise two major islands, Great Abaco and Little Abaco, with numerous cays surrounding the mainland. Naturally decorated with mangroves, white sandy beaches and beautiful sea channels, Abaco is frequented by hunters of wild boar and ducks. Its waters overflow with fish, including the marlin and sailfish. It also has bonefishing flats and its channels allow for good cruising between the islands.

Abaco is the third most populated island in The Bahamas with Marsh Harbour as the commercial centre located on Great Abaco.
